Carrie Mae Weems: Varying Shades of Brown was published to accompany Weems’ campus-wide exhibition and to celebrate the opening of The Lindemann, REX Architects’ newly designed performing arts center for Brown University. 

We broke the book's fixed sequence by designing a system that generated five distinct interior sequences to view the influential American conceptual artist's work.
