We created and developed a production technique for the cover typography with hanging threads that echoe the Spanish moss that's referred to throughout the book.

The interior uses layering and transparency to speak to the books narrative of what it is to be and artist and confront death. 

When the photographs end a second story begins, told in first person, set with type and on paper the color of moss.
