We designed a bespoke typeface used in Smoke and Mirrors, a book on Tarot. During our research we discovered the creators of the most famous tarot deck, A.E. Waite and Pamela Colman, were members of the Golden Dawn, a secret society devoted to the occult and metaphysics. The foundational documents were written in a cipher where each letter was switched with a symbol. Our custom typography further ensures the book permeates with the essence of tarot and conjuring.
